Privacy Policy
CourseSaga helps people learn through courses, vocabulary cards, audio, images, games, and optional AI-assisted tools. This Privacy Policy explains how McAwesome Apps collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use CourseSaga.
Information We Collect

How We Use Information
- Provide app features, authentication, course downloads, cloud backup, AI tools, audio, image search, and image recognition.
- Save progress, preferences, profile details, purchases, subscriptions, gems, course entitlements, and legal acceptance records.
- Generate, edit, moderate, publish, review, and remove courses or marketplace listings.
- Respond to support requests, reports, appeals, and feedback.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, excessive automated usage, policy violations, and unauthorized access.
- Measure reliability, diagnose crashes, improve performance, and plan product improvements.
- Comply with legal obligations, App Store requirements, payment rules, and enforce our agreements.
AI Features and Generated Images
CourseSaga may use AI services to generate or assist with course text, vocabulary, translations, tutorials, quizzes, audio, and images. When you use those features, we may send the prompt and relevant course context to AI or media service providers so they can return the requested output.
AI-generated images are automatically credited as “Generated with AI.” CourseSaga may store provenance metadata such as provider, model, prompt or prompt summary, generation date, asset ID, and request user/account. Users should review AI-generated images for relevance, safety, age-appropriateness, cultural sensitivity, trademarks/logos, public figures, private people, and misleading content before publishing a course.
AI-generated images may not be unique, exclusive, or eligible for copyright protection without meaningful human authorship. CourseSaga does not guarantee that generated images are free from similarity to existing works, brands, people, or protected content.
How We Share Information
We may share information with service providers that help us operate CourseSaga, including cloud hosting, authentication, storage, AI generation, image search, translation, speech synthesis, image recognition, payment entitlement validation, messaging, email, diagnostics, and customer support. We may share public or published course content with other users. We may also share information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate abuse, during a business transfer, or with your consent.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use personal information for third-party targeted advertising.
Your Choices
- You can choose whether to sign in, complete profile details, upload images, use voice/camera permissions, publish courses, or use AI features.
- You can manage device permissions in iOS Settings.
- You can request access, correction, deletion, or export of account data by contacting us.
- You can restore or manage App Store subscriptions through Apple account settings.
Data Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide CourseSaga, maintain your account, comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, preserve transaction/legal records, and support backups or restore. We may keep moderation, payment entitlement, security, and legal acceptance records longer than ordinary profile or course content where necessary.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe and using caution when publishing or sharing content.
Children and Students
CourseSaga is not directed to children under 13 at launch. Children under 13 should not create an account or provide personal information unless a parent, guardian, school, or authorized adult has provided any required consent and CourseSaga has enabled an appropriate child/student privacy workflow.
International Users
CourseSaga is operated from the United States. If you use the app from another country, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where we or our providers operate.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as CourseSaga changes. If changes are material, we will provide notice in the app or by another reasonable method. The “Last updated” date will show when the policy changed.
